Someone tried to jump in front of my car to kill themself tonight.

Whoa crazy night, but I was driving my girlfriend home and I was going about 40 (speed limit) down a main street near some homes, when I saw a girl purposefully trying to run in front of my car. I slowed and swerved as soon as I saw her running so I was about 5 feet from hitting her. So I went further down the street, turned the car around. So I drove back again and she tried to run in front of my car AGAIN! Then I saw that she was fighting with some punkass guy too. I stopped and said "Hey is everything okay here? I almost hit you back there, do you need help?" and she said "NO! I'm fine!", and then the guy that was fighting with her said "HEY HOMEBOY YOU GOT A PROBLEM". So I says "Uhhh yeah I almost ran over your friend here so I was stopping to see if I could help". And he was all "WELL MIND YOUR OWN F'ING BUSINESS". So I just drove off.... I drove for a bit and saw a cop headed in the opposite direction. Being the idiot that I am I honked my horn and flashed my brights but it didn't get his attention. So I did a U-TURN and tried to catch him and grab his attention.... well I ended up speeding (about 60 in a 45) and ANOTHER cop goes after me and pulls me over.... I quickly explain the situation, and he says he had been called to the area because of a domestic dispute. So he let me go, and told me to slow down. I was just really afraid that the girl would do something stupid again with someone elses car. I mean if you REALLY don't want to live, go do it on your own time, don't get other people involved. Oddly enough back in high school one of my friends ran over a lady who jumped in front of his car on purpose. She flew through the windshield and into his passenger seat, so nothing was there except her upper half and part of her thighs. Thankfully there was noone in the passenger seat or they probably would've been killed too.

They looked like trashy folks though, and I live out in the suburbs of Fresno, which for the most part are pretty quiet and nice.

I'm a little shaken by being pulled over (I have a perfect driving record), but I am really thankful that noone got hurt, especially my girlfriend who was sitting on the passenger side. I just remember how traumatized my friend was after he hit the lady that ran in front of him.

Hahaha yeah we Fresno folks just love to run people over. Seriously though the second time I came around she did the SAME damn thing. To me it seemed more like an act to prove something to that guy, but the first pass I made I came pretty close to nailing her. I wonder what would've happened if I hit her and not killed her but she just damaged my car? Would I get in trouble for it if she denied trying to kill herself and that I was driving recklessly?

When I worked third shift in one of Flint, Michigan's 'seedy' skid-row areas, always used to get crack whores and crack dealers nearly flinging themselves in front of my car.

"Hey baby, you looking for a good time tonight?"

"Hey G, I gots some good rock - $20."

B-tch! Get your ass out of the way before you get ran over.

I guess they thought every white boy driving in that area at that time of night must either be looking for a prostitute or drugs.
