Someone to refresh my diablo 2 chars

My PC is broken for a couple months, I hope my diablo 2 chars haven't expired. Is someone willing to log on and just refresh them? I'll just need your phone in a PM and I'll give you the info.

I always hated this design of Diablo II requiring this.

And crticize it when it comes up.
 
I don't think D2 chars expire anymore. Well, they do, but they aren't lost. I know that my chars expired, and a good 6 months later I was able to retrieve them.
 
Same for me, I hadn't touched my eight characters on Ladder for months, I recently logged-in again to try the beta patch 1.13 and my characters were all shown as being expired, but I could still log-in with each one of them without problems, if Blizzard still wants the characters to actually expire then they're certainly missing something.
 
they "expire," but you can get them back when you login IF someone has not since made a character with the same name. If that happens, you're shit out of luck.

I lost half my chars by by not logging in in time. No getting them back, I tried for a year.

DOn't want to lose the other half. No PM's yet.

Doh, I feel you man. I've lost 2 accounts over the years because of this very issue. Both times I just started over, hah.

If you trust me enough, you can send me your info and I'll make sure to log in with each character and spend at least 2 minutes running around in town to reset the character expired timer.
 
just set your date on your computer back to somewhere around the last date you played and start d2 and log in your chars will be there..

If the character names arent common then they shouldnt be at much risk, what Jeeebus said is correct. I logged in and my characters from a year ago are still there, i managed to refresh them all except two which had common names, one was frootloop and i think the other was mcdonald or somthing.
