...Gangs of New York requires TWO discs for the movie?!? I am looking at my Netflix queue and they are currently mialing out 2 separate discs for this movie. Can anyone confirm?

The movie was a little long so it might be 2 disks. or maybe the second disk is extras

If it's over 2 hours and has a DTS soundtrack, that's highly likely.

it is on both sides of the disk i have, you have to turn it over here

It probably has a DTS soundtrack. And it's 166 minutes long. Not quite 3 hours, no, but closer to 3 than 2. It doesn't surprise me in the least that it's 2 discs.
