Hookers and Blow are easily accessible downtown. Why wouldn't anyone want to go?

There's a place called downtown
Where the hippies all go
And they dance the charleston
And they do the limbo
Yeah, the hippies all go there
'cause they want to be seen
It's like a room full of pictures
It's like a psychedelic dream

Downtown, let's go downtown...
Downtown tonight
Downtown, let's have a party...
Downtown at night

You crazy, the downtown here is great. So much stuff to do and see.

It's not for everybody, but I do love it.

I just wish I made enough to afford it.

I hate going downtown here. All we have is bars and a porn shop. The bars are filled with college kids.

it's just not fun to go downtown here anymore.

though i went to Chicago for a 2 day "vacation" and it was fun. though by the end of teh 2nd day i was getting really stressed with all the people and noise. that's something i'm not used to

I don't mind going downtown but, I would never live there. Can't stand having so many neighbors so close. Some day I hope to get a few acres out of the city. Hard to get great land unless you have the cash flow in AZ though.

I think downtown in a big city sucks. Nothing but overpriced crap, crowds and lots of stress. F that. I'd probably tolerate it a little more if I didn't have to commute downtown for work.

I find it can be fun to go walking around Toronto or other big cities but definitely would not want to live there, or drive there. The air is also just not right in big cities, it feels so, thick.
