Someone recommend a good book on Unix/Linux

This is a interesting book:

It's still aviable in most book stores if you want a paper copy. It's not heavy on details but it gives a good overview of the concepts and purposes behind Unix systems. A lot of the design of Unix/Linux is centered around philosophies and legacies and having a understanding of the whys and hows may be usefull.

What are you trying to program? X? Sockets? Ncurses?

Ncurses, but any of the three would help as Id like to know as much as there is to know.
