someone please recommend me a fan for my amd athlon 1800 xp

I bought a retail athlon 1800 xp from newegg, and the fan that came with it is defective, one of the fins is broken off. Now, how do I request for a replacement fan? I'm also looking to buy a quite fan that'll fit on the retail heatsink for another 1800 xp system. I heard that panoflow is pretty good. Recommend me some good ones. Thanks!

Hey Max,

You'll probably need a 60mm x 60mm x 25mm fan and running no faster that 5500 rpm's. Also pick-up 4 machine threaded screws at a 1 1/4" length and sized as #4. Look at Delta, Quietek, Sunon, and much better but harder to find Papst, Sanyo Denki, Panasonic. Plop that fan on the heatsink and use those screws to hold it down.
