Someone please, I need a good mp3 tagger

I need something that will let me scroll through a list of files, change the id3 (or id2) tag, and just hit update. I had a program a while ago, that was really small, and written in VB, and I can't find it.

Anyone have any proggies they kno that they are good. I've downloaded about four as of now, and can't find any good ones. I've got over 3,000 mp3's I wanna start sharing.

And I swear, if someone says Winamp, I'm gonna beat your a$$

i believe winamp does this, just select all the files on the playlist, right click on them, do file info, and it'll let you browse through them.

Beau6183, I'm gonna kick your a$$ too for suggesting WinXP.

The program I used to have was awesome, you could scroll through files, and as you did, one by one, the information would be on the bottom half of the program. And all you had to do was change the info, and hit update. That's what I'm looking for, something like that.

I'll keep on looking. I'm checking all the VB developer sites, cuz I think that's where it was last time.

Tag and Rename. You can d/l a copy of it with a nag screen or pay some money to get the full version. It can do pattern matching, has CDDB access, etc... Looks quite nice.

I plan on using it shortly to fill in the tags of my near 3000 mp3s that I have ripped recently from my cd's that are currently tagless.

The change and update one after another thing is exactly what winamp can, why don't you want to use it?

btw, just to make myself clear, i'm not saying select them and do file info one by one, if you select them all, and click file info once, you'll have one id tag window after another until the list is done.

Could it be MPTagger? I've used this for a while, and it sounds like what you are describing and it uses the VB runtimes... check it out.

Bastula, thank you. Although this is not the exact program I used, it's perfect. Small, and easy to use, and easy access to multipe files. That's all I want.

Although I think next week when my Finals are over, I'm gonna try to make my own. I'll keep you guys updated.
