I having a small problem with my pc.

This just started 2 weeks ago. whenever I try to "save as target" or want to open up/save a movie file it'll stay at "connecting to media", then a box opens up and says "connection has failed" or "cant locate info", etc....it never used to be like this. I have tried cleaning cache, flushing , deleting cookies, etc..........and nothing, anyone know whats causing this and how I can fix it?

Im running WinXp W/DSL.

This happens with ALL movie files from all sites? Does it happen with other file types?

After you clear the cache, go into the temporary files folder and see if there are still files there. Due to a bug in how IE deals with failed connections there may sometimes be file names that it can't delete properly. But I wouldn't expect it to make you unable to download movies.

Thanx for replying....it happens with .mov and .wmv

I tried cleaning the temp folder, still does it......I usually dl shorts from bmxboard.com and sometimes vwvortex.com.
