Someone please help me with my Visor Deluxe

I have been having trouble hot snyncing. I haven't used my visor deluxe since february and today when I try to hot snyc, nothing happens on my computer screen and I get message on the palm pilot as "the connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Check your set up." I'm using USB and I tried all four ports and none of them work. When I click on the hot snyc icon, local usb is selected. All four of my usb ports worked cuz I tried pluggin my mouse into them and they all worked. any ideas?

hotsync.exe -r
It restores everything to the original state of the software. You will probably have to reset the USB option and any third-party conduits, but it's fixed all of my problems.
