I am ready to take this thing out and use it for target practice!!!!!!!!!
I have a SB Live x-gamer, and am running W2k, and a Biostar motherboard. The sound card worked great under Win 98se, and worked great for a while after I installed Win 2000, though it quit working after some time. I have reinstalled the liveware 3.0 software for win 2000 several times and it will work fine right after I install the drivers. After reinstalling them last night, I played a couple of hours of Quake 3, and then watched some TV with my TV tuner card and all was great. Though tonight I have no sound at all in Quake 3, though I have sound when I turn on my tv tuner card. Also, after reinstalling the drivers, I still could not get sound output to my stereo system, though I would get sound through my cheap computer speakers, and I have used my stereo system a lot after I installed win 2000 for listening to music from my computer and with games.
