Please tell me what to do in the following situations. I have little experience in dealing with trolls/CSR.
1. I bought a 56k (hardware) modem on eGay for 20.50 after shipping. Part of his description was "...The modem is working, but is being sold "as is"..." When I received it, and installed it, the system WON'T EVEN BOOT! I can't even get into the BIOS setup. When I remove the modem, everything is fine. I tried to contact him with e-mail, but he won't even respond. I paid with PayPal with a credit card though, so can I dispute the charge with my credit card company if the eGay troll won't refund my money?
2. I bought a 13.99 item on x10.com with a 15 off voucher. However, I was suprised to find that my credit card has been charged after all. Is there anything I can do?
