hello,

My tv just broke and I was wondering when they say 27" or 32" or etc do they mean viewable size? or is it like computer monitors where 17" monitor is like viewable 16.1"?

Televisions are usually marked based on the viewable size. So a 27 inch actually is 27 inches viewable (and if it were a monitor, it'd be called like a 29 inch).
