As Cartman says, "Kyle, you just need to go up to your mom and say, 'hey beyatch, I've had enough of your $hit.' Rambus is the Kyle's Mom of the hardware world. Is there anyone they won't attack to pad their friggin pockets? Next thing they'll be suing IBM for patent infringement on hard drive technology.

The dream of RDRAM domination of the memory market has not panned out for RAMBUS, so they are scrambling to find ways to make money for their investors. This is by no means an excuse for their unscrupulous business practices, just my hunch on why they do what they do.

The DOJ is already investigating. Rambus will be Rambust very soon....it's OK to start bullying the Taiwanese memory makers but once the DOJ sees that fellow American companies are being bullied they'll step in.

Remember to get a good two step wind up before you lay one on them.

Oh, and about that IBM hard drive comment, i already have what they will say: "Hard drives have buffers, and buffers are a form of memory. Since we own all rights to anything memory related, you are being sued for patent infringement."
