Dear Sir,
With a desperate need for assistance, I have summed up courage to contact you. I am a Soldier in the United States Army deployed to Iraq, I found your contact particulars in one those journals sent to us here.
I am seeking your assistance to retreive the sum of (US$8.523.000.00) Eight Million five Hundred and Twenty Three Thousand United States Dollars to a safe hand. As far as you can assure me that my share will be safe in your care until I complete my deployment here, this is no stolen money, and there are no dangers involved. I will be happy if you will keep this within yourself only to safe my head.
SOURCE OF MONEY:
In one of our operations here, we busted into one of the warehouses used by the former Iraq Administration from intelligent report gathered from the populace in Iraq, when we got there because we came in small company and discovered that it was not arm catchments as reported but money, we took some before reporting back to the Commander and this is my own share of it. It was agreed by all party present that the little money we took be shared amongst us, this was quite an illegal thing to do, but I tell you what? No compensation can make up for the risks we have taken with our lives in this hell hole.
To conceal this kind of money became a problem for me, so with the help of a Dutch Contractor working here, and his office enjoys some immunity, I was able to get the package out to a safe location, he gave me the whole information of where he kept the package, I even communicate with the people in charge, the problem now is that I want somebody to take custody of this to avoid more demurrage accruing on it. He did not know the real contents of the package.
One passionate appeal I will make to you is not to discuss this matter with a third party, should you have any reasons to reject this offer, please destroy this mail as any leakage of this information will be too bad for me. I do not know for how long we will remain here, and I have survived series of suicide bomb attacks, I honestly want this matter to be resolved immediately.
