Someone just shot a gas station attendant around here

Just picked up this bit of news from my buddy in the Fire Department.

So some guy tried holding up the local Sunoco station around here. Guess the Sunoco guy wasn't seeing it the same way as the robber and got shot.

Now there's a manhunt for him around the area. Got the helicopter out looking for him and everything. Just locked up the doors and windows.

Here's the guys description:

White Guy. 30s-40s, wearing Blue Jeans.

Gee, that really narrows it down.

Not trying to troll, but what does "Guess the Sunoco guy wasn't seeing it the same way as the robber and got shot. " Mean?

Just that the employee put up verbal or physical resistance?

Yep, that's pretty much it. Not trying to play off him getting shot as a joke, or anything of the sort.

Personally, I would've liked this to have ended with the attendant successfully defending himself. He's a little creepy, but a nice guy overall.

Yeah, if I worked at a gas station/convenience store, I'd be armed regardless of company policy or local law, or I simply wouldn't work there.
