Someone just lit my garbage can on fire!

I hear the doorbell ring and I saw some guy there and I thought it was just a solicitor so I didnt anwser the door cause I wasnt in the mood. Then my friend went outside and said my garbage can was on fire and indeed it was. It was filled with plastic because I just got a new bed so it was smoking like nothing else. My next door neighbors put water in it and the fire department came. Stupid kids if I ever find them ill give them a punch in the face
 
What's the lesson here? Always keep a gun, or a baseball bat, by your door, and take a look outside. And a fire extinguisher might help too.
 
Sorry to hear that Snowpunk. I usually just use a bag, and some dog dudu, but hey, to each his own.

Find them and smack them for me too 🙂

sorry that had to happen to you

a few weeks ago my roommate threw a smoldering piece of paper into a garbage can and 5 minutes later it was up in flames. it was fun to watch though

Given you can PROVE the person did it, the best revenge you can ever do is press charge the guy for arson. Burnt trash can is only $20 or so in loss, but criminal charge will haunt them for rest of their life.
 
At my school someone lit the garbage can on fire once. We have these big rubber ones and someone poured probably rubbing alcohol down and lit it. There was this big hole burned in the side. Was pretty cool too because all the teachers ran out thinking there was a fight.

Someone else got his locker lit on fire. The guy put kleenex in and lit it. Good thing we have metal lockers.
