Well it's a little old but if it works, you can't beat the price. Now it's time to get some maps.

The GPS is great but I've heard the maps (put out by Magellan) are only ok. Get up to date maps asap if you live in a populated area with a lot of changes. It looks like a really nice unit and I'm sure someone here would want it if you don't

Try geocaching. My dad just got a Garmin etrex legend and he's having fun with it.

Hard to see in bright sunlight.

I use this unit on my jet skis.

Really no good for planning road trips. as you have to plan it on PC first.

For what I use it for it is perfect.

I just started doing this as well with an eTrex Legend. See geocaching.com for more info.
