I wonder how long it will be before he is removed from the stats and I wonder if his crud is hurting our ability to connect with Berkeley? :|
 
assuming each result required a connection.... 892614456 connections is pretty much like a DOS attack

That is someone using the hacked version of the client that just sends a blank result file back to berkley. What a looser. At 300k per WU download ( which that hacked evrsion does ) that is 267,784,336 megs of data :Q He has to be on the Berkley Campus!

I think we've got our bandwidth theif! Is this the source of all the problems, someone who just wanted to be number 1 without doing anything 🙁

I noticed him in that position over a week ago sure would like to know what's going on! 😕 SETI@Sun was in 1st place on 2/1/02 and in 2nd place on 2/4/02. But, then over the weekend they were back in first place to be dropped back to 2nd today. I can't believe S@H would allow this!
 
If none of you have e-mailed them, I will do it when I wake up. I keep forgetting to sleep, so I figured I ought to try and catch up. 😉 BTW, start checking eBay for the "World's Number One SETI@Home Account." Call it a hunch. :|

Either I'm not looking in the right spot ... or they caught up to him and shut him down in the stats. He doesn't look to be there anymore...

I know it has been mentioned in this thread previously but would someone with KAE (knowledge & experience) tell me if this guy could be the cause of the WHOLE problem with Berkeley Bandwidth?
 
anybody else notice that it's been easier to get and send WU's. Look at orangekids Q, It's got under 100 waiting to be sent back!
 
Not really. 🙁 That is more than it had this morning, I think that there was just a successful dump last night. It looks like it is going to get clogged again. 🙁
