I have a relatively big problem, I am running IE 4 on Windows NT. I cannot get my address bar back, I right clicked the bar and address bar is checked but there is still no address bar! I have to type in my address from the search bar, then open it in a new window! Someone help!

Maybe it got hidden? Look for a gray vertical bar.

BTW, this belongs in the Software forum. Or maybe in Operating Systems.

There might be 2 double lines on the far left side where the address bar used to be, try pulling that down or across, I'm not really sure because i'm using xp and it doesn't have those anymore :(.

First, if I had put this is in the software section no one would reply b/c no one is on there. Second, I tried all the things you said and there are no other bars....now what?

Maybe this would be a good time to upgrade to the latest version of IE.

Ditto on what jcmkk said; you should upgrade to at least IE 5.5/SP2. This solved a LOT of problems we had with IE 4.0. However, I would lay off of IE 6.x. We're still using Win NT 4.0 on several machines at my work (sloooowly migrating to Win2K Pro) and we're seeing wierd things with IE 6.0 on Win NT (problems with Outlook, for example, due to recent IE 6.0 installs).
