Someone help me....TI-83 calculator help...Statistics

Im working on this statistics homework. My book says that a TI-83 PLUS calculator can do permutations by pressing MATH, then PRB, then nPr, then enter the value for r, followed by the ENTER key. I have the TI-83 calculator, not the PLUS version. After i go through those instructions, I enter a value for r and hit ENTER, and an error message comes up. Anyone know how to do this on a regular TI-83?
 
Hit the "n", then go to the nPr selection, select it, then enter your "r"
5 P 4 should look like
5 nPr 4
on your screen.
