Ok...i've gotta Linksys Wireless router, got 2 hard-wired computers that share folders just fine. Got one other computer (wireless USB style) that can ping/be pinged, but can't access via mapping network drives...help please. ^_^

Are you running a firewall, such as Zone Alarm or Norton? If you are, you will need to add the IP Addresses into the the Trusted Zone.

tried...didn't help a bit. When i try to connect, it tells me that it can't 'reach' the location...not, can't find it, just, can't reach it..

I know this is a bit stupid, specially after reading your 1st post in details... but are you sure you are not connecting to your neighbours network ?

its a good question though, but...i'm the only around here w/ wireless and also i've got WEP enabled so, the key has to be entered. ^_^ Still having the trouble though. See its for my wifes bro, (3) comps total in the house, 2 wired, he's got the wireless. I can connect to my wifes and vice versa. We both can ping HIM, as he can ping us as well. I setup an FTP for him last night, and he transferred just fine (3GiG in about 12mins) i've tried running the network setup, thinking maybe he just wasn't on our network, also enabled sharing. Also tried to network HIS comp to no avail. I don't understand whats going on. I assumed it would act just like it were wired to the router, but apparently thats not the case. Maybe later i'll try the wireless on my comp and see if the wife can connect in, but i doubt its a hardware/software issue on the comps themselves. I poked around the router but didn't find anything useful. Hope this clears a few things up on what i've tried. I'm not a NEWB, but i'm not exactly super experienced w/ wireless either. ^_^
