Someone has comments on Abit SH6 ?

Well I was interested by this only one Slot 1 815E board but with the comments of users in some forums I realy don't know what to think now. If someone have testing experience I appreciate...

i'm looking at the same board... from anandtech's review it looks like a great board. I need a slot 1 solution for my slot1 1gig, so the SH6 is my ONLY option for 815. The poor BX board (BH6) is getting old!

if you have any *hot deals* for the SH6 post them here too. Since Abit doesnt go though the big co's, there is not much for coupon deals! If someone can find the IM (ingram micro) number then could order from staples...

I have installed the SH6 about a month ago and there has been no major problems with the board. It's pretty stable.

One minor unsolved problem:
I had a un-branded TNT2/M64 card and it just wouldn't work with the SH6 board, no matter what BIOS settings I changed to. The card was simply not detected in the AGP. This exact card worked on the ABIT BP6 and also the ABIT KT7-100 RAID. I gave up and installed a ASUS V7100 GeForce2MX onto the SH6 and no problemo.

hrm, i wonder if i'll have probs with my leadtek tnt2 ultra ?

you contact abit about it at all?

I had a similar problem with the SH6 and my visiontek Geforce 2. It would boot fine with the integrated video, but failed to even post when I put the card in. Major annoyance. Give it a try, you won't know if your particular card will work unless you try it, or at the very least, someone else with the same card has.

ABIT RULES!!!! Go with the SH6. I have had no problems. Sweet board.
