Someone give me the update on 1207 FX boards, don't know much about them

Just wondering, been out of the loop for a while and really enjoy the thought of a 'server' board that doesn't require that ECC ram. Now I've heard that with a BIOS update they can run regular Opterons, is that true? Also, if they do, the overclock settings would still be intact right? Thanks

I was curious too. If you've found such a board, please post the exact model number so I can get one. I haven't seen one yet, and I emailed amd tech support. Now I'm waiting for the same low watt phenom as the 1.7 barcelona. Amd would not let me know if a new phenom was coming out with similar power consumption. So, I'll have to wait. All barcelona boards to date require ecc memory, but several places have it for almost the same price as regular ddr2. The new msi barcelona board may have a few overclocking settings, but by the time it comes out, phenom will probably be available. I'm also interested in the new 790 chipset which is supposed to use only 8 watts instead of 48.
