I know absolutely nothing about stocks so ignore this post. However I did get a 3.22%return on my 401 in the past quarter and someone told me that was good. Was it?

Recent Chinese medical IPO, I got in at $17, it closed @ 19.71 today. They are reporting their quarterly earnings on NOV 16th.. if the numbers look good (which there is a good possibility they will) this stock should go to mid 20's or higher

Fiscal Year-End: December
2005 Sales (mil.): $134.9
1-Year Sales Growth: 60.2%
2005 Net Income (mil.): $25.6
1-Year Net Income Growth: 16.9%
2005 Employees: 2,200
1-Year Employee Growth: 51.7%

Of all the places to get stock advice, you're going to look here?

Try The Motley Fool (fool.com). Good luck.

I got an email about a penny stock that is guaranteed to go crazy! I think it originated in Nigeria. Want me to forward it to you?

Ask a monkey or a bunch of kindergarten kids, you'll get better predictions and results.

Tips:

1. Buy and read "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham.

2. Don't buy any stocks you didn't research yourself, i.e. never buy on merely a tip from someone else.

3. Don't be in too much of a hurry to buy or sell. If you're going to buy, buy stocks you'd be willing to hold onto for at least 20-30 years if not forever. If you're not willing to hold onto a stock for the long haul, don't buy.
