to score, the number of stones you have inside your opponents' closest stone = that many points. i actually find it interesting to watch. i had never paid it much attention until this winter's olympics, but there's a hottie on the american team, so i started watching. actually kinda cool.

Is this game similar to those games you might find in some bars. It looks like a miniature bowling lane with sand on it. You push a little stone-type thing across the lane and hope it ends up the farthest without falling off....?

Same thing, almost?

It was invented by the same people. :p

I curled for the better part of 10 years. It's a great sport. Much harder than it looks on TV.

Bah you can say anything about any sport.
Tennis is just hitting a ball back and forth. Nascar is consecutive left hand turns around an oval track (small exceptions). Baseball is hitting another ball with a stick. Running is just well... uhhh... running... errr using your two feet... etc. But in the end it is just some other sport.
It is probably very boring to most people though.
