Someone explain the legal mechanism by which the head of the US Exectutive could be dealt with? Regarding 24 S5...

I suppose liek any ordinary person he can be arrested, but the recording would have been a violation of his rights would it not? Or post 9/11 can absolutely anything be done in the name of national security?

as far as the legality of the evidence, or the manner in which the evidence was obtained, i cannot say for certain. presumably you need a warrant to record conversations.

Recording varies by states. In some states, you only have to have one party's permission. Also, were they in a public setting? Then I would assume since they're in the public domain, you're allowed to photo/video/record anything.

Also, another thing to take into account is there are special laws regarding the POTUS. For example, I believe that in the White House, conversations are automtically recorded b/w the President and others, except for special circumstances. And what law code does the Pres. follow? Is it civillian, or is it the UCMJ?
