Compressed air is your friend.

I'm just kidding. I would not use compressed air in your nose.

Man, that sucks when it gets that bad.

You DO realise they have stuff you can take, right? Get some Day/Nightquil, works like a charm. Take every 4 hours, nose dry as a bone.

Doesn't make you better, but does clear up the nose.

Just try eating something really spicy. Here are some good reasons why:
1) It probably is the only thing you'll be able to taste well with a cold (ever notice that a lot of other foods are tasteless when you are stuffed up).
2) It will cause your nose to initially run (clearing out that stuffed up feeling).
3) The chemical that feels hot to the toungue has a secondary effect that you create less snot. In fact the medicine in cold medicine was originally based off of hot peppers. Thus once the pepper causes all the snot to run out of you, there is much less produced, and you cured both a stuffy and a runny nose.
4) It works almost as well as medicine at clearing you up, but it has now drowsy or light-headed side effects.
