Someone answer these questions!

My professor is an idiot, pls help me answer these questions... NO, I am not asking for you to do my homework, since these aren't homework questions, just need clarification on these questions... (and answers 😉)

How many peptide bonds are there in an alanine dipeptide? When potential energy is plotted v.s. phi/psi, how many major energy wells are there? Which energy well corresponding to each secondary structure?

How many terms are there in simplistic force field like Amber? What are they and what are they intended for? Write down the formula for such a force field and describe each term.

hmm i forget my organic chemistry course i took my freshman yr in college...i wanna say two to your first question, but its not right

Asking in the wrong forums lol, if this was a programming question you guys would be all over this... And then you would pay me to post more... And provide me with sexual pleasure... And then ask for more... And then and then...

2 petide bonds

4 major enery wells.

None

Amber has 7 terms

One peptide bond in a dipeptide, definitely.

Don't know about the energies, but I'd guess four (or maybe two...), with one of the wells corresponding to an alpha helix. Because alpha helix is always the answer on protein folding. 😀
