I was planning on having a nice week break after Mardi Gras, just taking it easy right? I was at a parade and ran into a friend who asked if I wanted to go rock climbing, they had an extra seat and wanted one more to share gas with. I said sure, then asked where and when. He said Mexico and now. In 2 hours I was in a car headed south.

The trip itself was the most fun I've had in a while. The place was gorgeous and CHEAP. Including gas, food and lodging it was 120 bucks. The climbing was great, if anybody here climbs you NEED to go down there some time. It's so amazing, you won't believe it. Here's some pictures, low bandwidth beware, 1600x1200... These were taken with my S200, w00t w00t!

Only started this year, I'm doing 5.9's and low 5.10's right now. I did a 5.10d this trip, it was tough!
 
Nice pictures. I have been rockclimbing a little, but not anywhere hard really. Where in mexico did you guys go? That looks sorta near Monterrey...?
