Somehow I just don't feel like this is very authentic....

FIRST OFF: I K N O W that instant ramen is NOT AUTHENTIC. I HAVE HAD AUTHENTIC. --But I'm talking about the FLAVOR of this particular ramen I just ate. "Creamy Pesto." WTF! Italian ramen? Of course, there's shrimp ramen, chicken, beef, etc... But CREAMY PESTO? That's not even TRYING to be oriental! :)

1) Dump pack of Ramen in 32oz cup.
2) Apply warm water
3) Turn HP Vectra VL400 on side
4) Place on passive heatsink (no fan)
5) Fire up RC5
6) Wait 30 minutes
7) Mmmmm.......

I personally prefer Cup 'O Noodles soup... just pour water and nuke it (for 3 minutes)! :D

i agree, with cup o noodles, you have a styrofoam bowl and don't need a pot to boil water in...saves clean up time! (although i pay 49cents for cup o noodles vs. 11cents for ramen...so it's a real judgment call on the price vs. ease of cleaning issue)

This was Maruchan Instant Lunch. Comes in a styro cup. A little more expensive, but the noodles are better. They're flat, not tiny and stringy like the 5 cent brick-o-noodles. :)

A friend of mine eats the bricks with the powder sprinkled on it, no water. :) Too much sodium for me though.

<< "Creamy Pesto." WTF! Italian ramen? >>

That's almost as good as the bacon bagels you can buy out west.

Instant ramen/udon comes packaged in bowls too. A bit more expensive ($1+) but it tastes better too, since they usually have better veggies and flavouring.
