OK! So, its basically the same gameplay. You run around an action area, beat the boss, then access the land for development.
The action sequences are slightly longer and more difficult, but not a whole lot. Graphics are wonderful, music is fantastic, you now have a couple special moves like an upward jump strike, and crashing down strike. You have MP's instead of scrolls, and there are save checkpoints.

The towns are a little more involved. Your angel can charge a super attack, when you want to clear a monster lair theres a brief action sequence, and you can now build forts to protect city hall, as well as other structures. But the maps are basically the same, so if you know were to cast a spell and unlock a secret, that hasn't changed. You need a minimum population to assault each lair but if you just let your citizens build normally it won't be a problem.

You can choose between classic and new soundtracks. Lots of graphic modes like window, borderless, and full, refresh rates up to 144, gamepad or keyboard.
