~$200 more than I'm willing to pay for a CD

Anybody know anything about the Russian re-releases? Are they legitimate?

With used going for $125 and the (virtually non-existant) new going for $230 I won't be buying an original any time soon.

I wish they'd just get over it & re-release it here in the states, a little polishing on a few tracks, a couple new ones on the end & you'd have a brand new album to release followed in short succession by an entirely new album.

I have some questions about their legitimacy, but if they're legit I wouldn't mind paying $30 for one.

$50+ is pretty steep for a single disc though.

Any particular reason you want to own the real cd? The band themselves encourages just downloading the tracks instead of paying those ridiculous prices.

I'm very, very picky when it comes to my MP4's.

I would be quite content with 10 minutes alone with the CD (since it's sanctioned by the band), but if I don't rip & encode it myself I don't trust the quality.

I'll check allofmp3, do they do any kind of lossless encoding?

[EDIT]Looks like they don't have it anyway[/EDIT]
