This happened last year but i didn't find out who it was. This happened early in the morning, money was withdrawn near where i live. Someone must have heard my pin and took my debit card while i was sleeping and i think who it was. No idea how to proof this. How can I get to reveal her theft?

Go to the bank and have them check the recording from the camera at the ATM.

Someone put a scanner on the card slot of the ATM. They got you CC number and your pin. If that's what happened the bank will make you whole again.

They'll cover any fraud. But if it was just a single transaction and the account wasn't drained, it might be hard to convince them it was fraudulent. Especially with it supposedly going unnoticed for more than a year.

Who the hell creates an account to post about something that happened last year?

It was a skimmer and you're shit out of luck since it happened a year ago. Should have reported it to your bank back then and you would have gotten your money back.

Why did you wait a year to act on it? Cops are going to laugh at you. "guess it was not that important then!" they'll say. You should have reported this when it happened. I suppose it's still worth reporting but don't expect anything to be done.

You mumble your PIN # while you are sleeping, and you waited a year? o_O
Tell me this, was she recently banned from Amazon as well?

Bots are becoming more creative... I am waiting for the shill to come along and mention a monitoring service. :p

I wouldn't be so sure, unless the account was hit for every penny that was in it. If the guy suspects someone in his household lifted the card and made one transaction with it, why doubt that? Child, wife, girlfriend. I'm sure it's happened a million times. The fact that it was done at a nearby ATM also lends some credence to that. The only question is how they got the PIN.

This reminds me... In 1992 I rolled up to an ATM behind The American Tap in Carbondale IL to pull out some beer money. Before doing anything I noticed that the screen displayed a message from God asking if I would like "another transaction".

"Fuckin' A Yes I Would!" I squealed as I mashed on the yes button. Poor bastard only had $20 available for withdrawal though. Considering beers we're only a nickle each that night I still felt incredibly blessed. I remember thinking that I just scored like 15 free beers with enough left over for a baggle.

You may have been the 4th or 5th "another transaction" customer....
