Guy parks right in front of the place he's going to break into. Then he knocks on the door? Why? Then, that not being good enough, he knocks on the door again! Then, for no apparent reason, he waits and waits before breaking in.
And then.. passes out? Really? I mean, why stop there? Maybe the attacker should have fallen to his knees, apologized profusely, and promised to go to the nearest church and become a monk?
I noticed that the layout of the apartment requires passing very close to the front door to get between the living room and bedroom. Here's how it most likely plays out in the real world:
1. Bad guy breaks down front door.
2. Bad stuff happens to girl because her gun is not with her, but rather locked in a safe under her bed in a different room she can't get to.
