Some X-mas shots(56K warning!)

Local town near me, Rochester decks out their whole downtown in lights for X-mas. So when I took my girlfriend out for a nice dinner a couple days ago I took some pictures with my Canon Rebel XT. I made no attempt to make these professional, didnt even take my tripod. Some I actually took while we were driving just sitting the camera out the sunroof. But a couple turned out semi cool so I thought I'd share. And also none are touched up or cropped so if the composition is bad sue me 😛

loading those took quite a while over 1.5Mbps DSL. about the full-size part, it's not necessary on high-ISO slow-shutter images.
other than that, cool lights.

Haha, I live in Rochester, and i was just browsing "LAST 25 UPLOADS" on bbzzdd, and I was like, "man that looks really similar to where I live.

We'll probably drive through there on Wednesday. As soon as I saw the title I thought of Rochester and when I saw you were the author, I figured that's what it was about. I'm considering going downtown to take pictures too.

OK - bbzzdd is semi fixed. I could view them just fine - nio more than a 5 second wait.

I say semi-fixed, because I could not upload anything.

Those are very unique shots. The sun roof was a very clever idea - puts nice perspective in play.
