The sewing table was one of my first serious projects, and didn't have much in the way of tools yet ... a craftsman radial arm saw, jigsaw, and a borrowed router.

For the rest of the stuff...
Delta Unisaw
Rigid 12.5" planar
Bridgewood 6" jointer
Bridgewood Lathe
Porter Cable plate jointer
Porter Cable 2HP, 1/2" router
Delta table-top drill press
POS craftsman bandsaw
numerous misc. hand tools of course.

LoL ... one problem with building your own furniture is that you are forever sorrounded by your mistakes. I could point out several issues with each of those projects, especialy the sewing table. But live & learn ... I rarely make the same mistakes twice 😀

Nice work, where did you learn to do wood working?

I've done carpentry ... ie. framing houses & such, with my dad and as a side job in H.S. Did some semi-crude woodworking with my dad. But learned much through trial & error, reading, talking to other woodworkers, etc.

My fantasy is to do all built in dressers, book cases, etc throughout our house...

I'll prob start with something like my workbench, a metal topped one for mechanical & then a woodworker's style workbench.

If that doesn't work out, I'm thinking wooden bongs to sell @ the renissance festivals😉

I'm doing some of that in the addition I'm building ... built a closet kind of space off the family room that will accomodate a big-screen TV, and plan to put pocket doors on it similar to the doors on that TV cabinet. There will be a small door into the back from the den to get at the wires & such.

A good place to start for a workbench is a solid core wooden door ... you can often find them dirt cheap at an architectural salvage place.

LoL mostly to the renissance festival workers i'm guessing. There was an "expose" in a local paper last summer that apparently things get pretty smoggy back stage.
