I just got back from holiday travelling and my ASUS WL-520GU seems to have completely crashed. Wireless is down and my primary desktop(wired) can't even acces 192.168.1.1....
Lights are working... I held the EZSetup button in the back for over the three seconds and the power LED never starts blinking no matter how long I hold it.
Anyone know what I might be able to do to fix this?
I've ripped it out and replaced it with an older Netgear, but think I need to get a new wireless setup anyway.
I'm looking at the E3000 to sit by my cable modem and primary workstation for the wired connections.
At my TV I have 5 devices that want to connect to the internet, some have wireless some don't.. even the wireless supporters don't have N though.. older Xbox360..
I would like to provide Wireless-N speeds to all the devices in this area, including the wired ones. I'm looking at the WET610N
http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-Linksys-...ref=pd_sim_e_3
but it is just for one devices and dont feel like spending the money to buy 5 of those bad boys. Can I just hook up my old Netgear router to the WET610N(as if it were the cable modem) and then all my devices to the Netgear by wire?
That way the only wireless is the WET talking to the E3000 over N.
Any other recommended setups would be helpful as well.
