Some weird stuff in NBA2K1

Ok, I'm playin a little online 2v2 street, and before the game, the guy tells me he's gonna show me his secret...so in the game, he could do freaky stuff...like he would do a layup or a dunk from the freethrow line, as if the basket was right there, and then after he did it, the ball would just fly into the basket....what's up with that?
 
No seriously, it wasn't normal. He would do the dunk animation at the foul line, and the ball would then make a line drive to the net. And after he did it, he said "see that? that's my secret" or somethin like that
 
hey now, I don't suck. At least not in 2v2. This guy *was* doing something not right...had to have been a cheat or somethin. If you had seen it, you'd know what I mean....his name was shotK1 or somethin like that....
 
Could it have been lag maybe? I dunno, I've never used my DC online.

BTW, is there lag in NFL2k1 online or any other DC games? 🙂
 
No it wasn't lag, I am serious, this guy did something different. He said he did a secret, and then he did that. I SWEAR.
 
The rest of the game wasn't lagging. It was the most "lagless" game I've played in awhile. It was not lag. Why else would he say something about his secret?
