Some weird problems with Chaintech VNF3 250?

The device is detected but I am UNABLE to install the drivers.

WHen I direct the file locations, it always says no device files were found for it...

I've tried the driver that came with the board on the cd, I've tried the driver that I downloaded for realtek NIC and they are doing the same thing.

What's the worst is that I've tried 3 different PCI NIC and its doing the same thing!!! ARGGGGG . any questions?
2 of the cards are supposed to be 100% pnp with xp which worked fine before ...

Yes I did install fresh xp with SP2...

twice and same problem... ACPI enabled.. could this be it?

defective mobo?

another issue is that I am not able to o/c higher with this board than with NEO FSR...
sigh... 🙁 barely stable @ 2.4ghz whereas it was semi stable @ 2.6ghz ... oh well.
