Is there some way that you can make the mouse cursor move faster across the screen, so that u don?t have to move ur hand so much??

I change my resolution to 1152 by 864 now I have to move the mouse a far bit to make the cursor move across the screen. I?ve changed the pointer speed to maximum in control panel. Is there some third party software that I can use? And where can it be downloaded?? I?m using win98SE.

And yes I am lazy! The less I have to move during the day the better!

Settings/Control Pane/Mouse/Motion

edit: oops did not see that you have it set to max.

I am using Microsoft mouse and under the pointer speed is an advanced button that brings up pointer acceleration box. Using this option makes the pointer move more when you move the mouse faster. I would imagine that logitec has a similar option. If you don't have a mouse from either of these I would suggest buying a $15 Microsoft mouse.
