I copied a system partition from a old ATA hard drive to a new STAT hard drive with
ghost, then the new STAT hard drive had system error when bootup. I also made the new ata drive to be ACTIVE at Computer Management on XP, but still fail. Does anyone how know to slove it? Thanks.

My old ata HD is 120G
MY new HD is 160G
Ghost version is 8.2

If you're trying to boot Windows then the problem is likely a lack of drivers in that installation for the SATA chipset.

If I made it to be non-system drive, it works fine. I guess can detect stat drive.

I also tried to use seagate's disc wizard sofware, but it still got a message of error loading operation system. I also try to clone the whole drive with ghost but still fail. :(
