I need to list some topics/issues for my english class that I feel strongly about.

However, this is a problem because I am a lax guy. Could you guys name some real-world topics, or just issues in general that I might be able to compare with, or that I just can't think of at the moment?

The enactment/writing of a bill that forces senior citizens over the age of 62 to take a drivers license test on a yearly basis, I am sick and tired of getting behind white haired dust balls traveling 15 miles an hour.

do you feel strongly about your stand on abortion?
our involvement in Iraq?
deportation of illegal aliens?
banning smoking in public places? (like they have in NY)
the death penalty?

Judicial activism. Law in a democracy should be made by the elected legislature, not judges.

Banning forum members?

Killing kittens?

Nintendo abandoning the Gamecube platform?

Abortion, death penalty, war on terrorism, Iraq, Janet Jackson's body part, DMCA, RIAA?

Why don't you just check out the Politics & News forum?
