Some thoughts about knowledge?

Knowledge is power
But power corrupts
Corruption is a crime
And crime doesn?t pay
Therefore, the more you know, the less you?ll make

In case you?re wondering why ignorance rises to the executive level, there is a simple explanation that is also mathematical proof.

Knowledge is power
Time is money
And as every engineer knows

Power = work/time

If knowledge = power, and time = money, then

Knowledge = work/money

Solving for money we get:

Money = work/knowledge

Thus money approaches infinity as knowledge approaches 0, regardless of the work done.*

What this means is: the less you know, the more you?ll make

*If work done approaches 0 at the same rate as knowledge, they make 1 dollar :)

The POTUS makes virtually nothing, considering the level of responsibility he has. Think about it, the leader of the free world makes $400K? That's f'd up.

It's not like he has many living costs, however. He gets a free mansion, free food, I'm sure he gets 99% of whatever he wants free. It's like 400grand spending cash.

Nice syllogism....unfortunately, it's actually a sophism (something which appears to be truly logical, but is fallacious)

The relationships between mental functionings (knowledge) don't operate on the same principles as phsyical functionings (power and time).

Furthermore, the equation of knowledge = power is actually contingent upon its use, therefore, the "use" of knowledge "can be" power.

Probably more than you wanted right? The joke is still funny. ;)
