Why is this 3000+ socket 939 so much cheaper on mwave, than newegg? is it different? 3000+ vs. dis one.

retailers dont have to sell products at the same price, you know. it's capitalism at its finest. since newegg is so popular, they can actually afford to sell products at higher prices. other then that, both are the same things as far as i can tell.

oh ya. mwave could also have a lot higher shipping costs, so maybe that's why.

It's an OEM box. Newegg has the oem for $179, closer to Mwave's price.

Because your NewEgg link is to a crappy LCD monitor, not a CPU, but for some bizarre reason they have a retail box 3000+ CPU photo with it. Newegg has the OEM CPU for $179. (Don't see the retail 3000+ S939 on Newegg)

im gunna pick up the retail 3000+ on friday when i get paid, much cheaper than anywhere else, and with the money i saved i can get the artic 5!!!
