There is some quote, I'm sure someone here has it as their sig that says something along the lines of "people willing to give up freedom for safety deserves neither." Who said that and how does the quote go exactly? Any other quotes that you can think off of the top of your heads? Going to use some in a debate on Tuesday.
 
Benjamin Franklin said it. They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty or safety.
