Rig I plan on building in the coming weeks:
P4 2.4B (C1, hopefully multi Vid SL6XX, local shop had a few SL6XX in stock
)
Board: Asus P4SDX Sis 655
RAM: TwinMos 256MB PC3200 x 2 (or maybe Kingston Hyper-X 3000)
HSF: SLK800U + 92MM YS-Tech 66CFM 40DBA Fan (thinking about spending xtra $$$ and get the SLK900, dunno yet)
PSU: Allied 450W (will be from my current XP2100 oc' rig)
Lets say that I get really lucky with a SL6XX chip and it does 18 x 180MHZ FSB (3.24GHZ), if I run my memory at Dual DDR360 (synch w/FSB) will it be faster than running my memory Dual DDR Async with my FSB at higher speed such as DDR400 or higher? What will be the best way do things, asynch or synch?
