I'm working a game, which I've been wanting to do for some time. It'll be co-op, pretty much only co-op, at least in the beginning.

It's kind of difficult to describe w/o totally giving it away and I'm not ready to let the world in on it. It's just little ole me doing it, for now, so any big sw house that got wind of it and decided to take it up could easily beat me to market.

I don't intend to not do this game, but I'd like to see how many of you out there would find something of it's nature enjoyable.

1. It's not going to be a FPS, just to get that out of the way.
2. It's co-op.
3. Each person has their own area of responsibility. IOW, a workstation.
4. Each person contributes to the team win/lose, in a big way.
5. Your effort can/will make a difference, but someone else calls the shots. IOW, someone is in charge, everyone else follows.

It's going to socially model the real world, in which you have a boss and his/her word is final, but he/she is ultimately responsible for the win/loss. If you win, you win big, if you lose, you lose big, but it will be a team effort.

I guess I didn't ask any questions after all, but I'm looking for opinions.

My Opinion: game ideas are a dime a dozen. There's a million miles between having a viable game idea and actually producing code that works, and another million to having the right mix of gameplay elements, production values, and other design choices that actually make it something anyone would spend their time on, even for free. Stop being so cryptic, produce working code, and ask for feedback when you have something to show.

Will do.

It's a pet project, something I'd like to see how well it'll play.
