Some Questions about the Zune 2

As I understand it, there is a simple hack to force the zune software to convert divx and xvid to wmv for the zune. I also read that this trick does not work in vista 64. I'm curious as to whether or not this is true. I'd like to hear from anypme who is using the hack as to how well it performs. About how long would it take to transcode a 1 hour xvid movie on Q6600? How is the quality? Thanks.
