Hi all
I'm planning on building a rig using a 785G motherboard along with a Radeon 3450. I'm planning to overclock both of them. (not the best solution, but the 3450 was free) The problem is, there's not a lot of documentation on this. I'm trying to find out how the two interact, and have some questions that google and my home forums couldn't answer.
1- The IGP supports ATI Stream and UVD2, but the 3450 does not. Will I be able to use them? (I'm assuming no...)
2- If the IGP has Sideport memory, will that affect anything?
3- How will I go about overclocking them both? I'm assuming I should get them OC'd before enabling crossfire...?
4- Would I be better off by using a larger OC on the IGP and forgetting the 3450? Depending on the board, the 4200 is potentially capable of a >80% overclock on the stock cooler. This would simplify things, but It seems like I'd have a net loss in power.
Thanks for any replies
