Some questions about case cooling

I've read some of the advice over at www.overclockers.com, so I have some of the basics down. I think I'm ready to ask some specific questions.

I just built a rig with two double-slot ATI x1950xtx's to crunch data for Folding@Home. The graphics cards are both double slot, so they have the fan blowing the air out of the lower back of the case.

Q) I have a cheap case and an open PCI hole next to the graphics cards. I'm worried that the open slot may pull in warm/hot air back toward the graphics cards. Should I cover this slot?

Q) I have one intake fan in the bottom front of the case. PSU blows out, and case fan in upper back blows out. There is a second area for another fan next to the upper back fan. I'm guessing if I add another case fan, that I want it to blow into the case?

Q) Has anyone made a "chimney" to make sure the hot graphics card air goes up/out/away for double PCIe cards? Would you recommend it?
 
No it will not pull air back in, as you know heat rises. And if you can add another fan do it, because your air in/out ration is off. And with that front intake i would recommend a higher CFM fan. Also if you know how to make hols for fans, add a fan right beside the VC on the side pannel.
